If you enjoy crafts, share something you’ve created and you just might inspire others to give it a whirl. If you have a favorite book, bring it along and tell us why you like it so much. And, if you like to cook, bring a recipe – and samples, of course! The purpose is simply to get together and connect with each other.

Kelli Mercurio sat in her doctor’s examination room.

Waiting.

She was 41, with a husband and two kids, a meaningful career and a father ailing from cancer.

“When the doctor walked into the office, I could tell by her look. She said ‘I’m so sorry.’ After you hear those words, everything stops,” Mercurio said. Read the rest of Kelli’s Story in the Pocono Record (January 29, 2012).
