Breast Friends was founded in Oregon in 2000. The Oregon Headquarters began as the one and only chapter. Since our inception, we have helped thousands of local patients and their families. Oregon is the testing ground for all Breast Friends programs and offers all program services. Unique to the Oregon location is the prosthesis, bra and wig closet, known as the Hope Closet. We offer these products free to women who have little or no funds available to purchase them.

Support Groups

We all need girlfriends so, in that spirit, Breast Friends offers support in the form of a “Girls Nite-Out” potluck dinner so we can come together, enjoy each others company, and make new friends.

If you enjoy crafts, share something you’ve created and you just might inspire others to give it a whirl. If you have a favorite book, bring it along and tell us why you like it so much. And, if you like to cook, bring a recipe – and samples, of course! The purpose is simply to get together and connect with each other.
